    Entrance of the King

    Imagine a long royal hall filled with waiting subjects and servants. A procession with banners, trumpets, and colorful clothing enters, and ushers in the King. This song was written for Easter morning. It is a majestic, almost epic, hymn of high praise to the King of Glory.

    ¶ Verse 1 (begins at 1:50 in the audio file)
    Rise and worship all you nations
    Now behold your King
    Lord of Glory, Pure and Holy
    God of everything

    Praise Him! (He is Holy)
    Praise Him! (He is mighty)
    Worship Him all men;
    Praise Him! (Your Redeemer)
    Praise Him! (Christ your Savior)
    Bow before His throne.

    ¶ Interlude 1
    Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord Almighty!
    The whole earth is full of His Glory.
    Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord God Almighty,
    Who Was, and Is, and Is To Come!

    ¶ Verse 2
    Born of Woman by the Spirit,
    Jesus came to earth.
    God of Heaven, Lord of all,
    yet child of human birth!

    Praise Him! (God incarnate)
    Praise Him! (Come to save us)
    Bow before His throne;
    Praise Him! (He is Alpha)
    Praise Him! (and Omega)
    Worship Him alone.

    ¶ Interlude 2
    Blazing forth with glorious light, God ascends His Throne!
    Fall on your face! The risen King!
    Extol Him!
      (Come and worship, all you nations)
    Praise Him!
      (Praise Him!)

    ¶ Verse 3
    Come and praise the Rock of Ages,
    Hear His thund'ring Voice.
    Bow before I AM who made the
     earth from formless void;

    Praise Him! (He is worthy)
    Praise Him! (He is mighty)
    Make His glory known;
    Praise Him! (your Creator)
    Praise Him! (mighty Author)
    Bow before His throne.

    ¶ Ending
    Worship Him,
    Worship Him,
    Worship Christ the King!
